25-year old Russian man killed in motorbike and coach bus road accident in Pattaya this morning.
Accident happened on January 3 at 10 a.m. near the Dolphin Roundabout. Officers from Mueang Pattaya Police station and Sawangboriboon foundation rescuers found the body of Sergei Sugadaev under the coach bus (Bangkok registration number 32-8595). Russian was killed instantly on the scene and was trapped under the left rear wheel of the bus. His motorbike Honda was found nearby.
Witnesses said the coach bus rode on Pattaya – Nakluea road, Sergei drove his motorbike on the left of the bus. When the bus driver turned into the Soi 29/1, Russian tried to put on the brakes but failed and crashed into the bus.
Body of Russian was sent to Banglamung hospital for autopsy. Bus driver in the state of shock detained for questioning and prosecution.
